Welcome to Casey Stadium

We hope you have a fun and healthy time enjoying this multipurpose facility. To ensure you have a safe visit, we encourage you to read these conditions of entry and follow them throughout your visit:

  • Casey Stadium is a non-smoking facility.
  • No child under 10 years of age is permitted to enter the premises except where the child is supervised by a responsible adult. Adults must be 16 years or older.
  • Patrons are required to follow staff directions at all times. Failure to do so may result in eviction from the Centre.
  • Drugs are prohibited and we will refuse entry to anyone under the influence.
  • No external alcohol is to be brought into the Centre and Centre conditions for the responsible service of alcohol apply.
  • Avoid leaving your personal property unattended.
  • We encourage family friendly behaviour, not permitting abusive, disruptive or offensive actions.
  • You must not use a camera or other audio or visual recording device without the prior consent of management.
  • Patrons will be liable for any willful damage to fittings, fixtures or equipment.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry, remove a patron from the facility and to inspect bags upon request.
  • No pets allowed – Assistance dogs and emotional support dogs permitted.
  • A person entering Casey Stadium consents to the YMCA (or third parties appointed by the YMCA) to photograph, film or tape them via all forms of media. The YMCA or third parties appointed by the YMCA, can broadcast, publish, license and use any photographs, film, recordings or images and do so without compensation to the subject of the photographs, film, recordings or images.
  • All persons agree to be bound by the respective sporting organisations rules, by-laws, policies and procedures, conditions of entry and codes of conduct; and submit themselves to the judiciary tribunal, member protection, child protection and any other legislative, regulatory or disciplinary forum.
  • No commercially bought food allowed within the centre
  • Appropriate attire must be worn at all times, this includes shoes which don’t mark the courts and playing tops on at all times
  • Patrons must not record or broadcast anything from within the centre, unless written permission has been provided by centre management.

The User must indemnify and keep indemnified and hold harmless the City of Casey and Casey Stadium Management from and against all actions, claims, penalties, demand costs, expenses or damages in any way related to any act or omission of the Casey Stadium Management or of any person acting on behalf of the Casey Stadium Management in respect to the use of the services and facilities of the Centre.

Sports – Code of Conduct

Players

  • Players must play the game in accordance with the rules and by-laws of the sport.
  • Players must not argue, dispute or intimidate an umpire and must accept all decisions.
  • Players are to treat teammates, coaches and opponents with respect at all times and display good sportsmanship.
  • Vilification of any type including racial and religious which offends, insults, intimidates, threatens or disparages another person will not be accepted and is subject to immediate expulsion.
  • Verbal abuse of officials and sledging other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent will not be tolerated.
  • Players are to treat teammates, coaches and opponents with respect at all times and display good sportsmanship.
  • Physical altercations in any form will not be tolerated with offending parties being immediately ejected from the match and banned from the stadium. Poor team behaviour may result in the removal of that team from the competition.
  • No alcohol to be consumed prior and or during any sporting activities
  • No intoxicated members/players are permitted to participate in any sports and competitions. This includes alcohol, drugs or anything else that inhibits a person’s judgement.

Spectators

  • Remember that most people play sport for enjoyment.
  • Be courteous in communication with administrators, coaches, players and umpires.
  • Accept decisions of all referees as being fair and called to the best of their ability.
  • Always be positive in your support for players.
  • Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse.
  • Any physical altercations will not be tolerated with offending parties being immediately ejected from the match and banned from attending the stadium.
  • Encourage players to obey the rules and by-laws as well as to accept decisions of officials.
  • Demonstrate appropriate social behaviour by not using foul language or harassing players, coaches or officials.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
  • The facility and equipment are to be used in a respectful manner. Deliberate or negligent damage will be seen as an act of vandalism.
